Friday, June 22

"The Wiz": 7:30 p.m. Ease on down the road with Dorothy, Tin Man, Lion and Scarecrow in the modern version of "The Wizard of Oz." This is the third presentation by the Theatre Arts Studio, a group formed by four local women in 2011. The show takes place at North Salem High School, 230 June Road. Tickets are $15 at the door. John Jay Farmers Market: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Opening day of the John Jay Homestead Farm Market will bring together local farmers, bakers and craftsmen providing a variety of produce, meats, fish, dairy products, baked goods and handcrafts. Click here for a list of vendors. The market, which will continue every Saturday through Oct. 15, is located at 400 Jay St. in Katonah.

Muscoot Farmers Market: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fresh produce, meats, cheese, soaps, candles, honey, maple syrup, flowers, fish and delicacies from local farmers and artisans will be available. The Muscoot Farmers Market will continue every Sunday through October. Muscoot Farm is on Route 100, 1½ miles south of Route 35 in Somers.

Exploring Muscoot’s History: 1 to 3 p.m. Step back to the beginning of the 20th century to find out what Muscoot Farm was like in the old days. See the old foundations and footprints of the past. There is no charge. Muscoot Farm is on Route 100, 1½ miles south of Route 35 in Somers.
