What's Open In North Salem On MLK Day?

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - Schools, banks, post offices, town offices and the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library are closed on Monday in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.

Residences and businesses normally scheduled for Monday garbage pickup by BRIA will be serviced.

Who’s Cooking? in Croton Falls is open and all local restaurants normally open on Mondays will be open during the usual hours.

As for shopping, the Stop & Shop in Ridgefield is open, as is the A&P in Brewster. CVS in Ridgefield is open, as are the Rite Aids in Ridgefield and Brewster. The Danbury Mall is open. Beval Saddlery is open. The Ridgefield Hardware Co. is open. Although Croton Falls’ Front Street Cellars is closed, Liberta’s Wine Shop in Ridgefield is open. 

The UPS Store in Somers is open if you need to get something off in a hurry.

Anderson French in Croton Falls is closed but Ridgefield’s Adam Broderick is open.
