What's Open In North Salem On Presidents Day?

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - North Salem schools, banks and town offices are closed Monday for the Presidents Day holiday.

North Salem's Union Hall General Store is open Presidents' Day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

North Salem post offices are closed and there is no mail delivery. The UPS store in the Somerstown Center in Somers is open.

The Ruth Keeler Memorial Library will be open.

Residences and businesses normally scheduled for Monday garbage pickup by BRIA will be serviced.

CVS and Rite Aid in Ridgefield are open. The Stop & Shop in Ridgefield and the A&P in Goldens Bridge also are open.

Most stores will be open Monday. The Danbury Mall is open.

Most restaurants normally open Monday will be open.

Metro-North Railroad will operate on a Saturday schedule. Hudson Rail Link, the Newburgh-Beacon Ferry and the Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry will not operate.
