Woman Charged With Theft, Assault At Southeast Store

SOUTHEAST, N.Y. -- The Putnam County Sheriff's Department charged a woman with petty larceny and assault following an incident at The Home Depot in Southeast on Monday, according to officials.

Olivia Y. Brock, 22, of Newburgh, allegedly attempted to hide items from the store in her bag and leave without paying. When loss prevention officials tried to stop Brock from leaving the store, she allegedly became physically combative and injured two employees, police said.

Brock was arrested and remanded to Putnam County Jail in lieu of $250 bail, police said.
