She was born Jan. 2, 1927, to Charles and May Tuttle, and graduated from Brewster High School in 1944.
She worked for the Metro-North Commuter Railroad for 49 years until her retirement in 1994.
In June 2010, she relocated to Peachtree City, Ga., to be close to her family and was cared for by the staff at Ashley Glen Senior Care Center. She was a choir member at the First Baptist Church of Brewster and Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
She is survived by several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her sister, Ernestine Killory of Peachtree City, Ga.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 6, at 10 a.m. at Mount Carmel Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
