NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – Francis Paul Burns of North Salem died Aug. 13. He was 62.
He was born Aug. 7, 1950, in Belfast, Northern Ireland to Thomas and Elizabeth Burns. A plasterer, Burns was the owner of Burns Plastering prior to his retirement. He served as a volunteer with Belfast Brigade.
Burns is survived by his wife, Bridget; two sons, Kevin and Frank; a daughter, Fiona; five brothers, George, Patrick, Thomas, Gerard and Brian; three sisters, Rita, Gina and Anne; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Cargain Funeral Home in Mahopac, N.Y. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Old Stone Church in Yorktown Heights.
