PATTERSON, N.Y. -- Nicole O'Brien, 50, of Patterson, died on Tuesday, April 18.
O'Brien was born on Oct. 23, 1966, in the Bronx to Anthony and Rose (Balascio) Campanella. On August 25, 2002, she married William O'Brien, they were married for more than 15 years.
She received an associate's degree from Berkeley Institute and worked for J.J. Sisca & Associates as a property manager.
O'Brien was always doing things for others before herself and was devoted to family and friends. She was active in the Mahopac/Patterson Relay for Life and was the honorary chairperson in 2016.
She is survived by her husband William; son Christopher; mother Rose Campanella of Mahopac; brother Anthony J Campanella III and his wife Lisa of Mahopac; sister Michele and Bruce Ean of Mahopac, and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home, 692 US 6, Mahopac. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 22 at 10 a.m., at St. John The Evangelist Church, 225 East Lake Blvd., Mahopac. Interment will follow at Raymond Hill Cemetery in Carmel.
