NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - Stephanie T. Deery of North Salem died Saturday, Sept. 21. She was 98.
Deery was born Dec. 26, 1914, in New York City, to Michael and Anna (Martin) Scoran. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Croton Falls.
Deery is survived by her children, Stephanie A. Mahoney of Yorktown Heights and Roger (Barbara) Deery of Cape Cod, Mass.; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur R. Deery; son-in-law, Edward Mahoney; and four siblings.
Calling hours are Monday, Sept. 23 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23 at St. Joseph’s Church, Croton Falls. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
