Vincent J. Buchan, 76, Of North Salem

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – Vincent J. Buchan, 76, a longtime resident of North Salem, died on Dec. 29 at Stamford Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Brooklyn on June 28, 1938 to Vincent and Mary (nee Livingston) Buchan. He was retired after a long career with Con Edison and was an Air Force Veteran and member of the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid fan of the New York Rangers and Brooklyn Dodgers. He loved history and reading The Daily News.

Buchan was predeceased by his beloved wife of almost 50 years, Lucy. He is survived by Vincent Albert (Lauren) of Plantation, Florida; Elizabeth Ann (Len) of Stamford, Conn.; and Christopher Andrew (Tracy) of Kennett Square, Pa.; grandchildren Christopher Andrew Jr., Nicole Beth, Jordan Dylan, Connor Godfrey and Nina Isabella. He was the brother-in-law of Anita Campanella and the late Robert Campanella; uncle to Coreen and Laura Campanella; and brother-in-law of Joanne Clementoni.

His entire life was spent with love and devotion to his children and grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Jan. 2 from 4-9 p.m. at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Jan. 3 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 7 Pound Ridge Road, Bedford.

Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Route 202 in Somers, New York.
