The family who live in the home escaped after neighbors alerted them to the flames climbing up the two-story house, lohud.com said.

About 50 firefighters from numerous departments helped save the house on the street off Route 22, which caught fire shortly after 9 a.m. Saturday, lohud.com said.

According to Croton Falls Assistant Fire Chief Dan Dreyer, no one was injured in the fire, which was under control in about half an hour, lohud.com said.
