A sheriff arrested 50-year old David J. Dagone of Maple Hill Drive in Carmel on Nov. 22 after observing suspicious activity in a parked vehicle at the Highbridge Plaza in Southeast.
The sheriff approached Dagone's car, noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the car, and found that he was in possession of marijuana and another controlled substance.
Dagone was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Dagone was arraigned and released on his own recognizance, and will appear in Southeast Town Court on Dec. 10.
