Carmel Woman, 34, Accused Of Stealing Jewelry From Home Where She Worked

CARMEL, N.Y. -- A Carmel woman was charged on Tuesday, Oct. 11 with stealing thousands of dollars in jewelry from a home where she worked, according to lohud.com.

Amanda Smith, 34, was charged with grand larceny following an investigation into the theft, said lohud.com.

Carmel police did not say how much the jewelry was valued at or where the home was located, added lohud.com.

Smith is being held at the Putnam County jail on $10,000 bail, said lohud.com.
