Danbury Man Charged With Bringing Loaded Gun To Stranger's House

DANBURY, Conn. -- Police arrested a Danbury man after he showed up at a stranger's home with a loaded handgun last week, according to WLAD.

Police told WLAD that Victor Omar Fontanez, 26, showed up at a home on Montgomery Street just before midnight on Thursday, looking for somebody. The residents told police that they did not know Fontanez, and he did not tell officers why he was at the home, WLAD reported.

Police found Fontanez in his car with a loaded .38 revolver, according to WLAD. He was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, threatening with the use of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit, having a weapon in a vehicle, criminal possession of a pistol after having been previously convicted of a felony, and criminal use of a firearm, according to WLAD.
