Firefighters from Dutchess, Putnam and Orange county battled the blaze, which began in the clothing distribution warehouse of the multi-building facility on Merritt Boulevard shortly before 11 p.m. and raged for four hours until firefighters were able to extinguish it, with tankers of water employed, according to NBC New York.

All 100 employees who were inside the 16-year-old facility at the time of the fire safely evacuated, NBC New York said.

State police are holding a morning media conference Tuesday to provide more information.
