Eight Teens Prevented From Four-Wheeling In North Salem

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – Eight teenagers from New Rochelle were found Thursday evening on a 300-acre tract of private property along Hardscrabble Road, where they planned to go four-wheeling, North Salem police said.

Officer Silvio Ruvolo was driving by when he noticed three cars parked at the site. The officer sent for the New York State Police and their K-9 dog. An investigation for drugs proved negative. The teens were told to leave and not return.

The following incident also was reported by North Salem police:

Man Faints: A man fainted at the bar of Primavera Restaurant on Saturday evening, and his friends called 911, but then hung up. North Salem police responded to the restaurant, where they were told the man had been taken home by a friend. Police advised that the family should watch for any further episodes.
