Erratic Route 52 Driver Charged With DWI In Putnam, Police Say

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Kent Police nailed a Wappingers Falls man for felony DWI after he was stopped for driving erratically on Sunday on Route 52.

Anthony Ginese, 37, was stopped around 11:15 a.m. by Sgt. Alex VanderWoude observed him driving erratically and determined that he was under the influence, said Kent Police Chief Alex DiVernieri.

Ginese was arraigned by Town Justice Kevin Douchkoff and is being held without bail at the Putnam County Jail.
