Members of the C Platoon responded to the scene Monday night when the car went off the highway and into a wooded area on I-84 eastbound. A section of steel guardrail had to be cut to allow access to the car.

Engine 23 and Squad 1 assisted state police with hazard control and clean up, fire officials said. They also checked for any injuries, but there weren't any.
