North Salem Man Charged With DWI After Hardscrabble Road Crash

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – A North Salem man was charged Monday with aggravated driving while intoxicated, unlawful possession of marijuana and other vehicle and traffic offenses after a crash on Hardscrabble Road, according to the New York State Police.

Deegan A. Feeney, 21, was found to be intoxicated after he was involved in a one-car collision, police said. He provided a positive breath sample that showed his blood alcohol content level to be 0.23 percent, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication, officials say.

Feeney was issued traffic tickets returnable to the North Salem Town Court on Monday, Nov. 30, according to the report.
