Man, 24, Charged With DWI After Stop On I-84 In Southeast

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Danbury, Conn., man is due to appear in the Town of Southeast's local after being arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, New York State Police announced.

Nicholas Parker, 24, was stopped on Sept. 28 at around 12:38 a.m. on Interstate 84 by troopers from the Brewster barracks, according to state police.

Parker was stopped, state police claim, "for making an unsafe lane change."

Parker's court date is on Oct. 21 at 6 p.m., police added.
