Troopers were dispatched after receiving a call of an erratically operated vehicle on Interstate 684 at approximately 11 a.m. Authorities located the vehicle operated by Larry A. Bopp, 51 years old, of Wappinger Falls and suspected him of being intoxicated, police said.

Bopp provided a breath sample that yielded a blood alcohol content of .29 percent, more than three times the legal limit. Subsequent investigation revealed that Bopp had two previous DWI convictions in the last 10 years, police said.

Bopp was arraigned in Southeast Court and remanded to Putnam County Jail without bail, police said.
