Man Charged With DWI After Route 6 Stop

CORTLANDT, N.Y. — A Mahopac man was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Saturday while on Route 6 in Cortlandt.

Salomon O. Aguirre, 40, was charged with a misdemeanor after state police noticed his vehicle was moving erratically.

He provided a breath sample with a blood alcohol level of 0.14, and was issued traffic tickets to appear in Cortlandt Town Court on Oct. 9.
