POUGHQUAG, N.Y. -- A motorcyclist was seriously injured on Monday afternoon during a collision with another vehicle at the intersection of Main Street and Route 216 in Poughquag, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.

The motorcycle operator, whose name and age were not released, was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Capt. John A. Watterson, a spokesman for the county Sheriff's Office.
