A busy roadway in Northern Westchester has reopened following a crash between a school bus and another vehicle in which multiple students received minor injuries, according to state police.
The crash, which occurred around 7:25 a.m. Friday on Route 139 (Primrose Street) in Somers caused multiple minor injuries, including to students, said New York State Trooper AJ Hicks.
Hicks was not sure how many, if any, were transported to area hospitals.
The road was closed for about an hour, but reopened around 8:30 a.m., Hicks said.
The Somers School District said the bus did not service their district.
State police are still gathering information regarding the crash, Hicks said.
