NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- A North Salem resident heard screams and found a woman lying in the road after a possible domestic incident, police said.
When Officer Paul Smith reached the site on Deveau Road, he found the woman complaining of pain to her head, possibly caused by a blow from her husband.
The North Salem Volunteer Ambulance Corps was at the scene and transported the woman to Northern Westchester Hospital. The case will be investigated and concluded by the New York State Police.
The North Salem Police also reported the followed incident:
A driver pulling into a parking space in the Salem Center parking lot on June Road accidentally depressed the accelerator along with the brake and ran into the wall of one of the buildings.
