North Salem Two-Car Collision Sends Driver To Hospital

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – One driver was injured in a two-car collision Tuesday morning at the North Salem intersection of Hardscrabble Road and Fields Lane.

When a southbound car on Fields Lane stopped at the intersection of Hardscrabble, the driver’s vision was blocked by a propane truck waiting to make a right turn, said police. The car pulled around the truck and proceeded onto Hardscrabble, where it collided with an eastbound vehicle on that road.

The driver on Hardscrabble Road was taken to the hospital, complaining of neck pain, said police. There were no other injuries.
