Police Arrest Man Going 70 MPH On Route 35 On DUI Charges

SOMERS, N.Y. -- A Mahopac man was arrested by New York State Police in Somers on Sunday, Dec. 8 at approximately 1 a.m. after he was allegedly found to be driving while intoxicated.

Garrett N. Marino, 41, of Mahopac was stopped for speeding on Route 35 after allegedly going 70 mph in a 55 mph zone.

Marino allegedly blew a .13 in a breathalyzer test, was placed under arrest and was charged with driving while intoxicated.

Marino was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets returnable to the Town of Somers Court on Dec. 16.
