Somers Man Charged With DWI After Accident

SOMERS, N.Y. -- New York State Police arrested a Somers man and charged him with driving while intoxicated following a hit-and-run accident on Tuesday, Dec. 16, according to police officials. 

Bradley A. Stuart, 68, was accused of being involved in an accident on Bluegrass Circle that included personal injury, police said. 

Stuart submitted to a Breathalyzer test and his blood alcohol content was .14 percent, almost twice the legal limit, according to State Police. 

No further details of the accident were available.

He is scheduled to appear in Somers Town Court on Jan. 6, according to State Police.
