Teens Face Felony Charges After Vandalizing Dover Town Park, Police Say

DOVER, N,Y, -- Two Dover teens were charged with burglary and criminal mischief after severely vandalizing the recreation center at the Dover Town Park in June, according to New York State Police.

State Police arrested Cody Connor, 16, and Matthew Austin, 16, for burglarizing and damaging the building and its contents on June 27 at the center on Ketcham Park Road, state police said. The two were arrested in August and both charged with burglary in the third degree, a Class D felony, and criminal mischief in the second degree, a Class D felony.state police said on Monday.

Connor and Austin were arraigned in the Town of Dover Court and released on their own recognizance.
