Trio Charged After Amenia Burglary Investigation

A man, woman and teenage boy have been charged following a  burglary of a dwelling on Route 343 in the town of Amenia in Dutchess, state police said Wednesday.

The trio arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 17 are: 32-year-old Austin M. Lovett, 21-year-old Taylor E. Desario and 17-year-old Dyer A. Burns, age 17, all of Poughkeepsie. They have been charged with burglary in the second degree, a Class C felony, police said.

Lovett, Desario, and Burns were arraigned before the Town of Amenia Justice Court. Lovett was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond with his next appearance scheduled for Nov. 20. Desario and Burns were both released under the supervision of Dutchess County Probation with their next scheduled appearance before the Town of Amenia Justice court also on Nov. 20.

The charges were made following an investigation of a complaint on Oct. 1.
