WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Former President Bill Clinton was the star attraction Monday night at a fundraiser for Democratic Westchester County Executive candidate Noam Bramson at the Hilton Westchester in Rye Brook.

Tickets were priced as high as $10,000, but the event was off limits to the media, at the request of Clinton's representatives.

The appearance by the popular and charismatic Clinton came just as the Bramson campaign released a poll showing the race against incumbent Rob Astorino tightening.

A two-part video of the appearance, including speeches by both Bramson and Clinton, who lives in Chappaqua, has been posted to YouTube. You can watch the videos here.

Scullman:

This had nothing to do with Noam Bramson.

This was all about payback to his rabbi, Nita Lowey, for all the cash she raised for the Hillary 2012 campaign. And for Lowey stepping aside in 2000 so Mrs. Clinton, who up till that time couldn't have been elected to the City Council in Yonkers, could ascend to the U. S. Senate on the celebrity of being trashed and humiliated by her husbands womanizing and milking that all the way back to D.C.
Name one thing she ever did as a senator?
Name one accomplishment in four years, as Sec. State?
Can't be done.
There aren't any.

Hillary 2016!

ray donovan:

Bill Clinton really lowered himself by associating and attending a fund raiser for another tax and spend liberal like Bramson who is going to lose.

patrickilkenny:

I am not sure what the theory behind an endorsement by former President Bill Clinton achieves, other than remind those of us over twenty one that he is a President who was impeached and who brought a new denotation of the axiom "Oval office." I will be the first to congratulate the former President on his Global Initiative in Third World countries; fortunately, my "admiration" ends there. He was impeached for perjury and obstruction of justice - though, of course, found not guilty by the Senate. I think all of us, at least those whose mind works in cogent ways, are convinced that Mr. Clinton, even more than his wife, wants to be back in the White House. I do not think that is going to happen; Hillary's star has faded and if she thinks we are going to forget her ranting before the House hearings on Benghazi when, flailing her arms said, "what difference does it make," in reference to the dead bodies of our Ambassador and three security personnel, well, she is mistaken. Ms. Clinton, it does make a difference. Ms. Clinton's hushed deportment, after her resignation as the Secretary of State, and her hope that our memories will somehow ebb, is a fantasy; and true to her character, or lack thereof, she will have had a better chance at naming Rumpelstiltskin as the princess in the tower without Bill riding through the forest on his steed looking for that personality. My final thought Bill, stick to what you do best - no, not the Oval office thing - promoting your Global initiative; because frankly, even as one of your neighbors, I am tired of hearing the word Clinton.

Activist Bill:

Funny, Clinton had no idea who Bramson is. He was reading and memorizing from a script.

cjmesq:

What a joke. A pervert stumping for the leftist fraud.

kaceboy:

When is this country going to realize the hubris of the Clintons? Ask yourself the age old question. "Are we better off now than we were before?" NO WAY!

Native New Yorker:

Well, well THE NORTH SALEM DAILY VOICE has become an arm of the Westchester Democrat Party.

Think maybe THE NORTH SALEM DAILY VOICE could publish County Executive Astorino's promises with delivery versus Mr. Bramsom's promises with delivery for the City of New Rochelle.

If not then quit being the political hack of the Democrats and report on North Salem events which are vital to North Salem people.

FOR EXAMPLE:

Maybe you could look at the irregularities in the voting on the Croton Falls Fire District $4.5 million bond issue last week - electioneering by supporters at the Polls, no proof by signature comparisons as is done in all other votes, no ADA facility at the North Salem Fire House, no oversight of the vote count, etc.

Maybe you could look at the 55% increase in the Fire District tax, what happened to Governor Cuomo's 2% property tax cap ?

Maybe you could ask the Town Council what it considers reasonable with this Bond issue given that more property will come off the tax rolls and people on fixed incomes will pay the price.

DanGur1, you could have been there, all you had to do is fork over $10 grand like the rest of the fat cats that will benefit if Noam wins! I guess the Clinton’s didn’t want the press there so Hillary could keep her distance from a looser like Bramson.

DanGur1:

Tickets started at $100, actually. And Clinton's fundraisers for De Blasio and Mcauliffe were also closed to press...

DanGur1:

Wish I could have been there! Great speech by the President, let's go Noam.
