Laura Lisi, 65, White Plains Bookkeeper

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Laura Lisi, a White Plains bookkeeper, died Friday, Sept. 7. She was 65. 

A longtime resident of Carmel, N.Y., Lisi was a longtime employee of Cooperstown Corp. in White Plains. 

She was born Aug. 10, 1947, to Elvira and Alfredo Fazio. She attended New York City schools and received an associate's degree in business from Dutchess Community College. Lisi was a communicant of St. James the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Carmel. 

She is survived by three children, David (Brenda) Lisi, Paul Lisi and Megan Lisi, all of Carmel; a sister, Constance (William) Brophy; four grandchildren and two nieces. Lisi was predeceased by a granddaughter, Emma Lisi. 

The family will receive friends from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Balsamo-Cordovano Funeral Home in Carmel. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. James the Apostle Church. Burial will immediately follow at Union Valley Cemetery. 

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of her granddaughter, Emma Lisi, or the American Cancer Society.
