POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — Former Poughkeepsie resident Pawel Pawliszyn died Saturday, May 14. He was 39.
Born on July 4, 1976, in Slubice, Poland to Wlodzimierz and Halina Pawliszyn, he attended Poughkeepsie High School, was a truck driver and worked in construction.
Pawliszyn is survived by his children, Nicole, Daniel, and Julia; his sister; Agnes; his brother, Luke; and his mother; Halina.
Pawliszyn was predeceased by his wife, Iwona.
A memorial service was scheduled for Friday, May 20, from 5-7 p.m. at the Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home Inc., 39 S. Hamilton St., Poughkeepsie.
