Author Laurie Keller Visits Meadow Pond Elementary Students

SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. -- Author and illustrator Laurie Keller recently visited students at Meadow Pond Elementary School, the Katonah-Lewisboro School District announced.

Keller's visit was with kindergarteners, first graders and second graders, according to the district, which added that the trip was part of its March reading celebration called Pick a Reading Partner.

Keller, the district added, won the 2017 Theodor Seuss Geisel Award for her new picture book, which is called "We Are Growing!"

The new book, according to the district, is part of a series called “Elephant & Piggie Like Reading” by Mo Willems.
