Kudos For North Salem's Jessica Palma

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. - North Salem’s Jessica Palma, a student at Westchester Community College (WCC), is a member of the Westchester Events Board (WEB), and was recently named a winner of the 2011 Northeast Region Excellence in Programming Award bestowed by the National Association of Campus Activities (NACA). Over 160 regional institutions competed for the award. Westchester Community College was the only community college to qualify for the finals. 

The NACA gives the award to the group that makes the best presentation demonstrating its operative structure, adherence to mission, and ability to plan, promote, execute and assess quality programs to serve the diverse student body.

Since this year’s entry was only WCC’s second attempt to compete, the college is particularly proud of WEB's achievements.
