“We wanted to raise awareness for our food drive,” said Student Council co-president Patrick Loftus. “We wanted to bring attention to the cause while doing something fun.” “It’s a nice way to get together and have fun and at the same time, help the community,” said teacher Jay Jazayeri, student council adviser. “The students worked really hard and organized the tournament all by themselves.” The efforts netted 80 nonperishable food items for the Lions Club, as well as about $100, which will be used to purchase additional food items.

Tournament winners were John Del Bono and Lindsay Gasparri.
