North Salem School District Holding Community Talk On Bond Vote

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- The North Salem School District will host a public meeting to discuss a proposed $12.7 million project that would help the district improve its facilities and infrastructure on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the High School Library.

Improvements from the project will include making the buildings ADA compliant, roof replacements, and replacing other aging and rusting elements within district buildings. 

The state will cover an estimated 17 percent of the project cost, and the new bond agreement would have zero tax implications on North Salem residents.
