North Salem School Snow Days Melting Away

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – Because of the number of days schools were closed after Hurricane Sandy, only one snow day remains on the school calendar, said Superintendent of Schools Ken Freeston.

“After that, days will be made up by taking days from the March vacation, beginning with Monday, March 25,” he said. “That’s the week of Good Friday, so we only have four days available. I don’t know what we’ll do if we need more.”
