NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- North Salem Schools are getting involved with the Ben's Bell Project.

Ben’s Bells Newtown is hosting a two-hour bell-making workshop exclusively for North Salem School Families and members of the community on Friday, Jan. 31 at
Pequenakonck Elementary School's Multi-purpose room.

The mission of the Ben’s Bell Project is to "inspire, educate and motivate each other to realize the impact of intentional kindness and to empower individuals to act according to that awareness thereby changing our world," representatives said.

During the workshop, participants will form beads with clay and then have the opportunity to paint beads. The beads formed and glazed by members of the North Salem community will be distributed throughout the community to fulfill their purpose of spreading kindness.

Registration is required and space is limited. For more information on the Ben’s Bells Project, residents can visit the project's website.
