North Salem: Shelter Open, Schools Closed Monday

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – The emergency shelter at the North Salem Volunteer Ambulance Corps, 14 Daniel Road, will open at 7 a.m. Monday and stay open until further notice. It will be warm, with showers and Wi-Fi.

North Salem schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday. The Westchester Exceptional Children's School will also be closed on Monday and Tuesday due to the impending storm.

Emergency Management Coordinator Kurt Guldan advises all residents to “stay indoors during the storm. If you must go out, be careful of downed wires.”
