North Salem Students Earn Academic Honors

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. – A number of North Salem residents are featured in the academic news this week:

• Katharine S. Semmens was awarded a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at St. Georges University.

• Margaret Smith was named to the dean's list at Fairfield University.

• Trevor Douglas was named to the dean's list at Merrimack College, where he is majoring in political science.

• William De Morris was named to the dean's list at SUNY New Paltz, where he is majoring in adolescence education.

• Shelby Hanaburgh was named to the dean's list at SUNY Cortland, where she is majoring in speech and language disabilities.

• Daniel Buchalter was named to dean's list at Cornell University.
