Fourth- and fifth-grade physical education classes at the school took advantage of all the snow that piled up.

“We have been doing snowshoeing for the last few years,” said physical education teacher Robert Gilchrist. “This unit of instruction brings much excitement to our students.”

Students were asked to dress for snow before being able to go outside.

“The students look forward to a lot of snow each winter to take advantage of this experience,” he said. “This winter has not disappointed anyone by any means. We will continue to snowshoe as long as the snow lasts.”
