The sendoff has evidently been months in planning and revealed at a reported “unadvertised meeting” among school district officials and school board members, according to the report.
Hardy will leave the job and continue to be paid her $160,000 for the balance of the year, The Somers Record said.
For her part in the deal, Hardy will not seek to be re-employed in Somers schools or sue officials, reported the Record.
