MAHOPAC, N.Y. - The Mahopac High baseball team got a visit from an old Dutchess County rival Wednesday, as Arlington came in for a game at Mahopac High School.

The visitors loaded the bases in the first with no outs, and plated a pair of runs to grab the early lead, but it was the host Indians who prevailed in the end, plating 13 runs over the next five innings to record a 13-8 victory.

Mahopac right-hander Anthony Mirditaj struck out eight and allowed seven runs to earn the win.

Mahopac improved to 3-0-1 with the win. Arlington fell to 5-2.
