NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- Stacy Buzzetto Danielle Corde, Olivia Hawes and Danielle Fiacco will be inducted into the North Salem Student-Athlete Hall of Fame at a ceremony in the high school gymnasium on Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.
Buzzetto was a four-year starter on the varsity soccer team and a member of the National Honor Society. She was a team captain, and was named all-state her senior year. Buzzetto is a senior at Drexel University.
Corde was a three-sport athlete, lettering in volleyball, basketball and softball. She was named all-section her senior year in volleyball and all-section her junior and senior year in softball.
Corde was a member of the National Honor Society and the Math Honor Society. She also won the Army Reserve National Scholar Athlete Award and graduated from Boston College. She is working at Fidelity Investments.
Hawes was a four-year starter on the varsity soccer team. She led her team to the state finals her senior year, was team captain and voted to the all-section and all-state teams. Hawes played four years of soccer at Lafayette University and was team captain her senior year.
Fiacco was a three-year starter on the varsity volleyball team and a four-year starter on the varsity basketball team. As team captain her senior year, Fiacco led her team to the first and only Sectional championships in women's basketball for North Salem. A recipient of the Con Ed Scholar-Athlete Award, she was voted 1st Team All State her senior year. Fiacco was also a member of the National Honor Society and Math Honor Society. She received a four year full scholarship to play basketball at Lafayette University. Fiacco is a senior captain at Lafayette and a four-year starter.
