Janavey's Run As Somers HS Boys Lacrosse Coach Ends

SOMERS, N.Y. -- Somers High School is in pursuit of a new boys varsity lacrosse coach after mutually parting ways with Lew Janavey, according to LaxLessons.com.

Janavey, a former goaltender at Lakeland and assistant coach for Lakeland/Panas, led Somers to 80 wins and three sectional titles in his tenure, including the 2009 sectional title, when the Tuskers were led by JoJo Marasco, who went on to star at Syracuse University.
