North Salem Falls In Sectional Field Hockey Finals

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- The North Salem High School field hockey team's season came to an abrupt end when it lost 2-0 to Pawling High School on Tuesday, according to LoHud.com.

The North Salem field hockey team fell in the sectional final, 2-0, to Pawling.

Pawling was able to score in the opening minutes of each half to secure the Section 1 Class C title, LoHud.com reported.

North Salem produced a number of sustained offensive threats in both the first and second halves, but never managed to find the back of the net, LoHud.com said.
