WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – The White Plains fifth-grade girls travel basketball team are champions after defeating North Salem 32 to 10 Tuesday in the championship game of a county tournament.
Julia Reggio, Sarah DiSanto and Ashley Stagg were the leading scorers in the championship game of the Westchester County Recreation Department fifth grade girls basketball tournament, held at the Westchester County Center.
The team finished their season with a 14-3 record, Mike DiSanto, one of four team coaches, said.
The roster also included Ava Rainone, Jillian Pope, Alexa Donahoe, Camila De Souza, Krista Scapoli and Amber Andre.
