Beginning on Monday, motorists have been advised by the DOT that left lane closures are expected on both the northbound and southbound sides of the parkway, between Route 100B and I-287 in Mount Pleasant and Elmsford, allowing crews to complete maintenance activities, weather permitting.

The northbound lane is expected to be closed between approximately 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, with the closure beginning at 7 a.m. on Saturday. The southbound lane is scheduled to be closed between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. during the week, with no Saturday closure planned.

Drivers have been cautioned to exercise extra caution while traveling through the work zone, and to pay additional attention to traffic control devices, signs and flaggers in the area. The DOT noted that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
