Everett Woman's Death Caused By Medical Procedure Performed At Somerville House: DA A 35-year-old Everett woman died last week after having a liposuction procedure conducted at a home in Somerville, authorities said. A second woman was hospitalized after having the same procedure there.  Police were called to the 35-year-old's Bucknam Street home on Friday, May 10, to reports of a person in medical distress. Man Found Shot Dead In Springfield ID'd As 49-Year-Old A 49-year-old man has been identified as the victim of a shooting on Friday, May 10, in Springfield, authorities announced.  Gustavo Cartagena, of Springfield, was found shot in the 60 block of Locust Street just after 1:35 a.m. after police were called to the area for reports of gunshots, Springfield police said.  Cartagena was dead when officers arrived.  Police are investigating the slaying.  Officers ask anyone with information about the slaying to contact Springfield detectives at 413-787-6355.
