Supplier Takes Blame For Little Lobsters At Price Chopper

A New York state inspection agency announced last week that it had seized more than 1,100 pounds of undersized lobsters from Price Chopper in multiple inspections, but a supplier is taking the blame, according to the Supermarket News.

The Lobster Trap, based in Cape Cod, says it accidentally shipped these lobsters to Price Chopper -- and that the lobsters would've been sufficient in other states, the Supermarket News reported.

According to the Supermarket News, Price Chopper could be liable for fines up to $100 per lobster.
